Marmorera - Alp Flix - Rona

From Marmorera Pardela follow the path towards the north. Through a picturesque larch forest you cross the slope high above Lake Marmorera, from where you can take a quick look at the ruins of Marmels. After the moorland you reach the disused iron ore mining area Gruba and after a short ascent you reach Salategnas, the first settlement on the high plateau of the imposing Alp Flix. The alp is very beautiful and quiet. It offers a beautiful view to Piz Platta. A paradise to unwind. The hike continues via Cuorts to the "Lais Blos" (blue lakes), and continues through sparse forest to Plang da Crousch, one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the valley. Following the sloping Veia Surmirana you pass several mountain pastures. The trail leads past the Lais Blos towards Alp digl Plaz and then to Rona - Tinizong or to Savognin.

The trail is part of the Via Sett.

Enjoy a break at the Lais da Flix. It has two barbecue areas with wood and a toilet. While the sausage sizzles on the grill, you can dam the water in the stream next door or cool your feet in the lake.

From June to the beginning of October, the Alpin bus runs from Sur to Alp Flix and back again. Please note timetable.
