Description

The starting point of the hike is on the Julier Pass at the Ospizio La Veduta. After a short ascent you already reach a highlight of the hike. Nestled between mountain peaks lies Lake Grevasalvas. Behind the lake follows the second ascent. Thanks to the varied environment, this is certainly entertaining. The chance to meet some marmots along the wayside is great.

Arriving at the Fourcla Grevasalvas (2688 m above sea level), it is best to take a break and enjoy the beautiful view towards the Engadin and Bregaglia.

The ascent is done and now it goes downhill towards the village of Grevasalvas. The village became known through the filming of the Heidi series. From Grevasalvas you walk down to Plaun da Lej.

With the PostBus from Plaun da Lej back to the Julierpass/Bivio. (Change at St. Moritz Bad. Only a few PostBus routes)

Geheimtipp

If you still have time and are not tired, you can walk from the village of Grevasalvas on the high trail along the lakes to Sils or Silvaplana.
