Flower Walks Treasure Island Alp Flix

Alp Flix is also known as the "treasure island of biodiversity". So far, more than 3,500 species of fungi, plants and animals have been observed on an area of around 5 km2. Six of these animal species – such as the dung mosquito Rhexosa flixella – are classified as new discoveries and will be presented in more detail on the expedition. The varied foray leads along limestone-rich and low-lime small sedge vineyards with fever clover and marsh lice, dry sites with feather grass and feathery knapweed. Finally, you will reach several small lakes, where barbecue areas along the Lais Blos invite you to take a leisurely rest.
