Flower Walks Schatzinsel Alp Flix im Parc Ela

Alp Flix is also known as the "treasure island of biodiversity". So far, more than 3,500 species of fungi, plants and animals have been observed over an area of around 5 km2. Six of these animal species – such as the dung mosquito Rhexosa flixella – are classified as new discoveries and will be presented in more detail during the excursion. The varied foray leads along calcareous and low-limestone small sedge vineyards with fever clover and marsh licewort, dry sites with feather grass and feathery flake flower. Finally, you will reach several small lakes, where barbecue areas along the Lais Blos invite you to take a leisurely rest.

In order to enjoy the plants in (full) bloom, a visit between June and October is ideal. The route runs counterclockwise.
