Visit to the snowmaking system

Savognin was a pioneer in the field of artificial snowmaking 40 years ago. In 1978, the first large snow system in Europe was put into operation.

You can find out how the snow-making system is equipped today, how the water gets to the mountain and how a snow cannon works on this exciting guided tour in the pumping station of the Savognin mountain railways.
