POISON

Marseille. In the famous confectionery at the Marché des Capucins, the Graubünden owner dies and is buried in his mountain homeland. The heirs are fighting over the sugar baron's inheritance. Then mysterious cases of illness shake the company. Soon there are deaths to mourn. The police succumb to the sugar rush and investigate without result. A black comedy written by Giovanni Netzer for voice, piano and kitchen percussion with works by Rossini, Poulenc, Honegger and Ravel.
