Bax and Pirmin are back in the police service. However, the two Valais police officers have to deal with a simple sprayer case, while the rest of the department is allowed to solve the discovery of a charred body.
Bax, who has taken up residence in Pirmin's garage, is still on the trail of Biffiger's secret. In the process, he soon suspects his entire circle of acquaintances, while Pirmin himself finds himself in the line of fire of his Tschugger colleagues. At the same time, Valais and the whole world are threatened by a catastrophe. Even the Pentagon, the US Department of Defense, is involved.
