Little Robbie dreams of becoming a star. At 16, he is cast by a manager as a member of the newly founded boy group "Take That". The quintet takes off at full speed, conquers the charts. But that wasn't what Robbie had hoped for, because he wasn't allowed to write and sing his own songs. Instead, he should only look pretty on stage.
Frustrated, the young man surrenders to drugs, alcohol and meaningless sex. But he overdoes it so much that he is fired from the group. Due to his self-doubt, addictions, he is on the verge of a complete crash. That's when he realizes that he finally has to face his own personal demons.
