The Mäiensäss Radons is located at 1866 m above sea level and offers with its plateau a spectacular view of the Piz Forbesch and Piz Arlos. Radons is a popular day trip destination for hikers, bikers and those seeking peace and quiet.
Away from the crowds and noise. In Radons you will experience the ultimate tranquility. All seasons attract with their characteristics. Flower meadows in spring, meadows and high moors with great biodiversity in summer, roaring deer in autumn and starry, snowed-in nights in winter.

How to get to Radons and back

  • On foot or by (e-)bike directly from Savognin
  • By the mountain cableways to Tigignas or Somtgant, then on foot or by (e-)bike to Radons
  • With the Bustransport Radons - Tigignas

  • By car. A ticket/permit must be purchased from the ticket machine in Parsonz for the journey to Radons. The permit is valid for the whole day and is valid for all passable alpine roads in the municipality of Surses up to the signposted car parks. Car parks are available. Journey Savognin - Radons approx. 20 minutes. The road is very narrow in places and it is not possible to cross. Please watch out for bikers and scooter riders coming towards you. Theme trail Alpleben Somtgant - Radons

The panoramic theme trail is the perfect excursion for families and nature lovers. Take the cableways to Somtgant and follow the theme trail to Radons.

Radon's e-bike tour

A lovely e-bike tour from Savognin, along the Val Nandro, in the direction of Radons. Highlight of the tour is the viewpoint Crap Farreras with barbecue and picnic area.

Hiking from valley to valley

With the hiking bus you can hike every Thursday either from Radons to Tga in Val Faller or the other way around. The hiking bus takes you to Radons or to Tga and also back to Savognin.
